Being water-based, instead of solvent-based, Sikkens paint doesn’t release harmful Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) that you’ll find in solvent-based paint solutions. - When washing yourself, use one wash bucket for soapy water, and another bucket for rinsing. This ensures you don’t scrape dirty across your car after you’ve cleaned it off.
- Use a microfibre towel, and avoid automatic car washes that use anything more abrasive than microfibre.
- Don’t wash in direct sunlight.
