The Super Bowl is quickly approaching on Sunday, February 2, 2020. Super Bowl Sunday is one of the most anticipated Sundays of the year. Friends gear up and gather to make nachos and wings, have a couple of drinks, enjoy the game together, and predict who will win and hoist the beloved Vince Lombardi Trophy. This year the Pepsi halftime show performers are Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, which is sure to be an awesome show. Jenny from the block anyone?
Aside from the game and half time show, we can’t forget about the commercials. Super Bowl commercials are viewed by millions around the world and are notoriously known for being clever and hysterical. We’re going to take a look back at some of the funniest and most memorable Super Bowl car commercials.
Hyundai – The Elevator 2019
This commercial features Jason Bateman as a bellboy in a service elevator. His primary job is to take people to experiences or scenarios that one would typically dread such as the dentist, colonoscopy, and jury duty, but his job takes an unexpected turn.
Mercedes Benz – Say The Word 2019
An advertisement for the Mercedes A-class shows what happens when a man suddenly has the power to “say the word” and change the course of any event that is occurring.
Kia – Great Unknowns 2019
This very-well produced commercial from KIA evokes emotion as a little boy narrates the inner workings of their small town and how they are not known for who they are but what they make.
Audi – Etron 2019
This funny commercial from Audi takes you inside of the mind of a man who meets his grandfather on “the other side” as he unveils to him his dream car, an Audi e-Tron. But to his surprise, nothing is as it seems.
Jeep – Gladiator 2019
This commercial shows an old Jeep Gladiator’s journey to the junkyard to be crushed. Just as it starts being destroyed, something quite unexpected happens, unveiling the revamped 2019 Gladiator.
Dodge – RAM 1500 2018
This Dodge RAM commercial follows a group of Vikings as they load into the RAM. They commute via Viking ship with their RAM in tow across the country, explaining that it’s built for the unexpected.
Toyota – The Longest Chase 2016
This cheeky commercial follows the journey of four robbers as they choose to steal a red Prius as their getaway car. As they try to escape the feds they’re surprised by the performance of the Prius, and everyone at large is baffled and excited at its ability to evade the authorities.
